The Pledge of the Pancake

Hello, readers! Hobo Bob is back to make yet another post!
In case you haven't read the comments, Stickinmud, a fellow Blogger user, wanted me to make a post about the pledge of the pancake.
The pledge of the pancake, you see, is something him and I made up together through a Gmail chat. He did one line, then I did one line, and so on and so forth. Here's the results:
I pledge alliegence
To the Pancake
Of the Hobo States of America.
And to the food
On which it sits
One nation
Under Bob (not my line, I'm too humble)
Somewhat divisible
With maple syrup
And pancakes
For all.

How's that? If I ever hold a Hobo Bob festival, that's what I'll do as a pledge, say, at the beginning of the festival.

Hobo Bob's Pancake Shack (the restaurant) is doing great with sales, with sometimes over 50 people coming in every 40 minutes! That's more than one customer per minute!
I plan to expand on the menu soon, so some suggestions on what to put in would be nice, too.
Hobo Bob's Pancake Shack (this blog) seems to be doing okay, too, with my profile appearing on the top of the second page in a Google search for the words hobo bob.
Also, something weird happened to me today.
After I fed the anteaters today (who, by the way, are doing well), I went two steps out of my box only to find another box right next to mine.
That's strange, I thought. Contrary to popular belief, when they are in cities like Hobo Town, hobos generally stay put.
But when I looked in the box to see who was there, it was none other than Zell, the gangster hobo.
Oh, boy, I thought. Just what I need.
With any luck, he'll move out soon before noticing that he's living right next to me. If there's anyone I want to avoid, it's Zell.
But shh! he's coming right now.

P.S. Next month (October) is Hobo Awareness month, so if you see any hobos on the side of the road, begging, you should remember fellow hobo-ship and give them an apple, or do something kind.

I love the pledge - very clever - we should insist on it being said every morning before school !
